Opening it’s doors in 1998, Decades Coffee Club has been serving a variety of not only coffee beverages, but a smattering of gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan food options as well. Their shop is quaint, with a very relaxed vibe to it that invites you to come in and make yourself at home. The second level of the building furthers this idea. Be it the lighting, seating, or decor, it’s a very nice place to be on a chilly fall day.
Along the same lines, the staff’s warmness furthers the notion that Decades is a home away from home. I’m not going to lie, I asked them a fair few questions regarding their food, but they were patient and willing to answer all of them which I quite appreciated. Additionally, they were prompt in getting my order out to me as well- an added bonus. Overall, management is to be credited for assembling a fantastic team!

My first thought regarding my latte was the delicate balance between the creaminess of the milk and the boldness of the espresso. Big shout out here to Agro Coffee Roasters based out of Vancouver, you’ve got some great beans. That just set the stage for the rest of the latte. The foam was quite nice. It had a good density to it with a good mouthfeel. This was another instance of the beverage feeling rich, but not overly heavy-another instance of a delicate balance. Overall, I’m regretting that I only got the smaller size. It was so very good, I was almost ready to get a second one for the road. Thanks, Decades for a fantastic time!
