PINKAVO Cafe- Langley

The interior of the cafe.

PINKAVO had only opened a couple of weeks prior to our visit, but it was clear that they’ve already made their mark on, not only Langley, but the Valley as a whole. For good reason too, as there’s certainly much to love about them. They are huge on community, incredibly responsive on social media, and provide a much needed, must-visit destination for all of you in the vegan community.

All in all, the cafe was quite charming and I feel like they nailed the vibe they were going for. For anyone wondering what exactly that vibe entails, check out their Instagram. The staff were great, very upbeat and got our order out in a timely fashion (especially considering the place was packed!). In addition, they make a pretty decent coffee too.

My flat white.

I had the flat white. Now, the thing I look for in a flat white is that slightly bolder espresso taste coming through. Unfortunately, I didn’t really get that here. The other parts of the drink were solid though. It was very creamy, and the foam was solid, holding up really well throughout my drinking of it. However, it was that lack of espresso taste coming through that was a bit of a sticking point for me. I will say, however, that closer to the end of the drink, it did punch through a bit more which made for a pleasant finish. Jess ordered the Chili Turmeric Latte and I got to sample a bit of it, and man, was that good! It had a really nice spice that came through, and stayed with you. Overall, it was a pretty good experience at PINKAVO. I definitely would be willing to go back again.

  1. Hey Matt, thank you so much for visiting our cafe!
Since around the time of your visit we have added an extra shot of espresso in our large cups for that exact reason! My husband is huge coffee snob and he wasn’t happy without that punch! We have finally dialed it in and would love for you to check it out when you’re in the area again.
Thanks so much for your honest opinion!!
