Coffee Review:

Starting with the aroma of the coffee itself, it was very bold and rich smelling- something that carried over to the taste of the blend. The main tasting note that stood out to me was the smokiness of the roast. It was definitely dark and in your face, something that could be off-putting to some. However, I feel like this bold taste worked well in this coffee as it helped elevate the citrus after-notes. These citrus notes helped to round the coffee out and really freshened it up, providing a tinge of a lighter mouthfeel. Overall, this is definitely a dark roast coffee drinkers coffee. It’s very bold, but I applaud Po&Co for putting such a bold blend out there. With that said, it wouldn’t be my personal go-to, but I can see why it is a popular roast in their catalogue. You can check this roast out (as well as their other offerings) on their website. Let me know if you try any of them and what you think. Cheers!
