Review:
This was my first time trying something from Counterpart Coffee, and I can confidently say that it won’t be my last, they really know how to roast coffee! On this particular blend, the aroma was lively and very fruity/juicy. An unexpected, but welcome surprise. My biggest take away from this coffee were the cherry notes- they were big, bold, and in your face (but all in the right way). Surrounding this was a nuttiness (I picked up on almond) as well as a hint of chocolate on the finish that rounded things out nicely. Overall, everything complimented one another quite nicely, and it made for a very pleasant experience. It was sweet, lively, fruity, and complex all in one. Nice job, Counterpart! Keep up the good work.
