You’ve heard of instant coffee. I’ve tried specialty instant coffee. Now, I had the pleasure of sampling CoffeeTabs- a brew that acts like instant coffee, but is made from the real deal. It’s super easy to use which is a definite plus. First, add the tab to your empty mug and break it up. Next, add your hot water. Finally, give it a stir and then let the grounds settle. That’s it. Invito carries three different varieties of CoffeeTabs- natural, medium, and dark. For this review, I tried the natural CoffeeTabs.

Right off the bat, I got a lot of citrus notes on the nose. It seemed quite lively and sweet- both of which were quite appealing and inviting to me. The citrus notes carried through to the taste as did the sweetness- the coffee having an almost peachy sweetness to it. The notes really bounce around on the tongue a fair bit, adding to an interesting, and frankly quite delightful, experience. All of this culminated in a crisp, clean finish that really rounded things out nicely. Overall, my experience with CoffeeTabs was interesting, and pleasantly surprising. Thanks for this, Invito!
