Discovery Coffee has several locations scattered throughout Victoria and they’re busy serving some amazing coffee and roasting some incredible beans! Again, with the way things are surrounding COVID-19, I didn’t get the full on cafe experience. Rather, I got to order at the designated window. But hey, it looked like a lovely space inside. Also, I have to include a shout out to the people working at the Menzies St. location. You guys were hustling, friendly, and just made the all around experience that much better, so cheers to you! Alright, now onto the coffee itself.
Discovery Coffee was my second stop on my Victoria trip, and man, was I ever glad I made the stop. As per usual, I got myself a latte for this review. The biggest stand out for me in this beverage was the incredible balance between milk and espresso. It was as close to perfect as you can get- neither overpowered the other, and they worked very well together with the milk highlighting and complimenting the rich notes in the espresso. To be perfectly honest, I would be very happy to drink four or five of these in a row, they were that good! Thanks, Discovery for an incredible experience, there’s no doubt that I’ll be back next time I’m over that way.
