Well, well, well, it’s been a little while since I’ve done one of these. Before I try and stumble through my first review in some time, I just wanted to say thanks for reading! It means a lot that people still read my blog even though I’ve been away for awhile.
Anyway, a few weeks back, I received a message from Red Racoon Coffee asking to send some samples my way. I figured this would be a great time to get back into writing and coffee reviewing. Overall, this roast was quite lovely. On the nose, it smelled quite fresh- almost reminding me of summertime. It was quite cherry forward and smelled a little on the sweet side as well.

In terms of taste, this was a quite light-bodied roast. There was a sweetness that built the longer it lingered on the tongue. There are notes of raspberry that filter through and add a refreshing note to the roast. At the tail end there is a hint of a crisp, sweet peach that provides a very nice ending to the coffee. Overall, I quite liked the roast, and I feel like most people would as well. I appreciate Red Racoon for sending this coffee over and I look forward to trying the other two roasts very much!
